Terms
These terms set the basic boundaries for using HouseHQ while it is still early: helpful household organization, careful review, and no pretending the app is a bank or financial advisor.
HouseHQ is currently a private beta. Features may change, break, be renamed, or be removed as the product improves.
Use HouseHQ thoughtfully and review important household information yourself before relying on it for decisions.
You are responsible for the household information you enter, upload, paste, import, edit, or delete in HouseHQ.
Do not add information you do not have permission to use. If your household shares an account, make sure other household members understand what is being added.
HouseHQ is budgeting and organization support. It is not financial, legal, tax, investment, accounting, or credit advice.
HouseHQ does not transfer money, pay bills, make payments, make financial decisions, or ask for bank credentials. Always verify amounts, categories, and imported statement rows before acting on them.
Receipt OCR, statement parsing, category suggestions, duplicate detection, and learned rules can be wrong. They are tools for review, not final truth.
Statement import is designed to show rows before saving. You should confirm dates, merchants, amounts, duplicates, and categories before approving imported transactions.
Because this is an early product, HouseHQ may be unavailable at times or may need maintenance, resets, migrations, or cleanup.
Tester feedback may shape future pricing, access, data controls, and feature availability.
HouseHQ includes controls to export household data and delete household data from Family settings.
Deleting a logged-in household is intended to remove that household dataset from the shared database and sign the tester out. Deleting a local demo household clears that browser's local demo data.
For beta support, privacy questions, data export needs, or deletion requests, use the tester channel or person that invited you to HouseHQ.
If a self-serve control does not work as expected, ask for support through the tester channel that invited you.
